Oh but didn't he re-sign knowing he'd be a backup? Should've just went to another team.

According to some tweets by Bryan Gutierrez, contributing writer for Mavs.com and TheTwoManGame.com, Chris Kaman was at practice today but he did not participate in contact drills.

Holger and Nate McMillan were also present at today's practice. Don't freak out people, Nate McMillan is not looking to be the next head coach or even assistant coach for the Mavs - he's just travelling around talking to other head coaches.

Lastly, Carlisle mentioned that Mayo "tweaked" his ankle in practice today.
Not suspected to be a big issue.

I don't know how many of you guys have heard but according to a interview Dirk had with (Tabloid?) Bild he and his lovely wife Jessica are expecting a child later this year.

If Dirk has a son lets hope he's tall and athletic and can shoot like his dad so we can draft him in 2034.

Yep, that is true. In fact, the "Bild" is a German tabloid but Nowitzki himself confirmed the rumor by saying that he and Jessica are expecting a child. He also stated that his dream comes true because he always wanted to have kids - and maybe the child is born around Christmas 2013.

I know I'm late with this but Chris Kaman made Shaqtin' a Fool (deservedly) for his botched fast break attempt during the 3/14 game in San Antonio.

This is funny. He says Lakers took this game like a game 7 because Kobe played 47 minutes and Dallas did not be cause we used our normal rotations.

Funny because it is that same 47 minutes day in and day out that led to Kobe not getting any more minutes in the playoffs this year than Dirk did.

Here's one thing I wouldn't trust: a majorette driving a car I'm in.

I would trust a car driving a majorette I'm in though.
