Somehow the Mavs lead by 10 at the half with only the bench and against the Pacers starting five lmao

You guys look pretty good so far. Pacers offense is just awful.

Read earlier today that all the starters plus Harris were gonna sit out.

Outside of Jefferson, Mavs bench offense is meh.

I wish Doron Lamb could have gotten some burn.

lmao at Charlie V after that dunk, desperately want that roster spot!

Mekel looks like a solid, heady point guard from what I've seen albeit with a ceiling of a backup. His defense though, leaves much to be desired; like Jose Calderon on quicksand.

Villanueva is a surprisingly okay man defender in the perimeter (hard to believe he's 6'11") but if he's going to be a 4 or 5, he better improve his awareness and instincts or there will be tons of easy baskets down there. Still, his outside shooting ability and competent low post moves puts him very high on the list.

Bernard James is garbage, sorry; Pavel Podkolzin is a better prospect by comparison.

Ivan Johnson was a bit of a disappointment, sad to say. I have a soft spot for tough as nails, doberman enforcers but you need to show a little bit more than that. Cardinal and Stevenson had range to go with their bark; Ivan was just, well, tough. And that's not enough.

Griffin is a prime example of a guy that doesn't do anything other than throw an earth-shattering dunk or two and a volleyball swat in Summer League then said fanbase goes crazy about it and calls the front office idiots for not taking a chance at him. Said front office signs player then he precedes to take continuously giant dumps on the court for 30 minutes once he learns the bitter truth that you can't get by on athleticism alone. Hey, it's kinda like Rawle Marshall!

Before:
1. Ivan Johnson
2. Charlie V
3. James
4. Lamb
5. Griffin
6. Mekel

After:
1.1. Charlie V
1.2. Mekel (tie)
3. Lamb
4. Ivan
5. James
6. Griffin

Well CV and Mekel did well. I did wish Lamb had the chance to showcase his range.

So far, this is how I project the final roster:

C: Chandler - Wright - Smith
PF: Nowitzki - Aminu - Villanueva
SF: Parsons - Jefferson - Ledo
SG: Ellis - Crowder - Lamb
PG: Nelson - Harris - Mekel

Yes, my gut chooses Mekel over Felton.
