Spurs 12 Players with Leonard / Splitter / Mills out

PG-Parker / Joseph
SG-Green / Ginobli
SF-Belinelli / Daye / Anderson
PF-Duncan / Bonner / Ayres
C-Diaw / Baynes

Against

Dallas 13 Players with Felton out and Ledo probably Inactive

PG-Nelson / Harris / Mekel
SG-Ellis / Jefferson
SF-Parsons / Aminu / Crowder
PF-Dirk / Charlie V
C-Tyson / Wright / Smith

Dallas Easily Wins by Double Digits in the Opener against the Hurting Spurs .

I don't care if they are the Champs or not . Dallas comes into this game with 4 Mavs Starters better than the Spurs

Nelson < Parker
Ellis > Green
Parsons > Belinelli
Dirk > Duncan
Tyson > Diaw

Dallas Bench is also in a different league than the Spurs Bench

This games not even close . I wouldn't doubt it if the Mavs Blew the Spurs off the floor by 20+ Points

It's not about counting starters - the Spurs have played together longer as a unit and they are more then the sum of their parts. One could argue that the Heat had a better starting unit then the Spurs (including the best player) but they still got their butts kicked.

Excited to see the Mavs starting-5 playing for real now. Next I would like to see who the next few guys RC trusts off the bench. Mavs should have about a 9-10 player rotation down within the next few weeks.

Regular season hhhhyyyyypppppeeeeeee!!!!!! Let's go!!!!

On a serious note about the game, injuries or not you can't discount that the Spurs have been playing together for ages while this Mavs teams has a lot of new pieces that still need to gel together.

Am exciting about our team though! Hopefully we start with a win tonight

splitter and kawhi being out could be pretty big for the mavs. i mean, splitter really had dirk's number lately, wouldn't be surprised if dirk goes off tonight. and kawhi being out will make it a lot easier for our golden boy. two crucial matchups.
i like our chances, won't be able to watch it live, though.
Wake up, girl. I wanna go surfing.

This is a huge test for our team early as it is not only the first game together as a unit, but against the biggest rival on their home court. We need this victory. Im so pumped. Go Mavs!

Tough way to start even with some key Spurs missing. Really excited about finally getting going again.

It's looks a battle of Texas this year.
You guys might want to incl. Houston while at it.
Anyhow, pretty exciting stuff so far.

LOVE Tyson's activity.

Hilarious how Knicks fans were trying to talk themselves into how Dalembert is as good as Chandler.

Looking promising so far. Need to see a bit more out of Parsons but happy with a lot of players so far.

I did not see Dirk getting the ball at all in the 2nd quarter, so is Parsons. What?
