Overpaid role player battle, I'm just going to enjoy monta while I can because that parsons contract set a terrible precedent and I doubt Ellis a true second option will take less than a third option at best

Parsons will bounce back, he just needs to play his game and not force it.

That intro by Parsons was weak. They should have gotten Tyson to do it.

I don't mind JJB on the team (especially over Mekel) but does RC have to play him today?
I mean, maybe he should skirmish a bit more with the team before making his debut.

Well... when you average out Parson's and Dirk's contract it doesn't look bad.

And when you average out Parson's and Dirk's shooting it doesn't look bad either.

I hate Harris ISOs at the end of quarters. He will not pass and will miss.

I think it wasn't so bad to debut him tonight, RC knew the probabilities of losing tonight were slim so why not throw him right into the fire in a game that was almost impossible to lose?

Good point.
I think if it were a team like the Clipper Barea would probably not have played.

On a positive note. I know I said it before in the SAS thread but it's so nice to have Tyson back. He's worth at least 5 Dalemberts.

Jazz fan here. You guys look like true contenders, and not just cause you're kicking our ass. I wouldn't even be surprised if you guys ended up a top 2 team in the west. This team reminds me a lot of the 10-11 championship team. A lot of pieces that complement each other, and this team is super deep. Chandler Parsons was one of the most underrated off-season pickups this past summer. I'm definitely rooting for Dirk to win one more ring.

Avon barksdale, is there any thread that you don't whine in? Stop stressing about contracts and appreciate the fact we have a deep, younger team this year.
