Parsons to miss Saturday's game

Post#1 » by fuller4379 » Sat Feb 28, 2015 3:55 am

"Parsons is doing much better, but he's not going to play (Saturday)," Carlisle said. "He's out of the boot. He's doing some shooting and light movement stuff, but he's not ready yet."

We'll be fine. Jefferson is playing well as a starter.

Would love to be at full health, but it's understandable that he's not ready yet. Should still be a W anyways.

Can't wait to get him back. I hope people will finally see that it's crucial to have him and keep RJ as a backup.

Maybe it's just me but I honestly think Parsons should come off the bench. I'd like to see RJ continue to start and have Parsons energy off the bench. He played his best basketball in Houston while coming off the bench. He could still average the same amount of minutes just get them off the bench. If he can get his 17/5 coming off the bench that would be a huge boost!

Parsons has to be the Wally Szczerbiak of this team. As Monta and Rondo are Cassell and Spreewell.

Hopefully he gets to show that he's worth every penny.

I feel people were just getting carried away with the contract we had to give him but they know we need him, especially offensively. We sorely miss him cutting to the basket to cause defenses to collapse and stretching the floor with his shooting.

Spot on, mate. People are upset because of how much he makes/salary cap space he takes up or what cheaper options we could've potentially had instead of simply appreciating his skills and importance to our team.

Dont think anyone got carried sway with it, you don't pay 15m for 15ppg when he's below average at everything else but we're stuck with him for now so we at least need his production

The sooner Parsons can get out of his Anta contract and get into some real shoes, the better. He had to wear painted over Jordans last night
