Apparently it's the shoes.

But in all seriousness, he has something to prove: that he and Monta can carry our scoring load when it matters. Hopefully it carries over the PS. Obviously the percentage isn't sustainable but the efficiency and productivity are very possible.

He's actually been mixing it up pretty well driving a bit more

Ugly win at home, against a team on the 2nd night of a back to back and missing 2 of their 3 best players.

But this late in the season, the Mavs aren't in a position to be complaining about style points. They need momentum, and they need every game in the W column. And these wins against LAC and OKC definitely help.

They've climbed up to the 5th Seed! Woohoo!!

Neither of those should have even been reviewed, Barea flailing about not-withstanding it was clearly a play on the ball and he happened to get his head... You didn't happen to be one of the refs did you?
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

I wince every time I look at the standings. Western conference and murderer's row division looks brutal. One slip is all it takes...

But yeah. Great wins against quality teams. Time to put in some more work though.

I love Rondo's game, warts and all.

Incidentally, Wall has been balling out East lately. I haven't been pissed in a while now, it's a welcome change.

Mine too but Clippers take the cake just with the way the whole team responded from a beatdown. I mean the starters and the bench just brought it that game. And they specifically planned and executed to take the ball away from CP3's hands, essentially disrupted their whole offense.

Nice comeback in the third quarter. I hope this will silent the critics about Parson being trash. The offense has taken off since his return from injury.

Might wanna throw our starting Center into that discussion even before the other 2 guys.

I agree he got manhandled however in a few of his scenarios he didn't get rebounds because he was challenging penetration, dirk and parsons played zero defense and still didn't get and rebounds, we need 15 boards a night from our starting forwards

TC played great D, especially in the clutch but we're used to getting 10-15 boards from him alone and his rebounding just hasn't been good enough since the injury. We need to get 25 out of the 3 on any given night and that's a conservative approach - tonight we got 15.

Most of us even-keeled fans weren't really bashing Parsons but pointing out the scoring slumps of Dirk and Monta. Looking back, I guess you have to blame the team as a whole or praise the team as a whole because we've been winning games on the strength of our unit as one.

Parsons and Rondo are our version of epoxy and glue.

How awesome was that game! I honestly didn't think I would see it but this team is actually showing some chemistry on the court. The last two or three games from Rondo, Parsons, and Dirk have been pretty good! Rondo especially. Really ever since Stoudemire called them out they have collectively pulled their heads out of their ass and started playing as a team. I really think it has more to do with the fact that they are finally healthy for the most part but it's really good to see. Rondo and Monte even seems to click and play well together. It does help that Ibaka was not playing but they can only play against whoever is on the court. This win was important to keep OKC at bay. I do not want the Mavs to face Golden State in the first round. Any other team I think they got a shot to beat in the first round and advance to the second round. If they make it to the second round I honestly think they have a chance against any team including Golden State (because their confidence will be super high).

It helps that the Mavs are running the P&R closer to the basket. The defenders are still going under the pick and daring Rondo to shoot. The difference is he's now closer to the basket and getting a much easier shot. I think Dirk's shooting coach has been helping him out too.

Is it really possible that they may FINALLY be finding their chemistry?

How is it backseat moderating by informing someone they're being reporting? Can you do some actual moderating by returning a pm sent a week ago
