This team is so frustrating lol. They can great 2 great wins, throw up 3 duds, then get 4 great wins. Key for the playoffs will really just be timing.

Nice win. Ellis was on fire today. Dirk was active on the boards.

Well I'm as happy as anyone that we won tonight.. Definitely looked pretty grim for the first half of the game. Congrats to Dirk and Monta. This was a much needed victory after that disaster against Phoenix

Well we called out Monta from last game and said he will be spending some alone time in the gym after that devastating loss against Phoenix.

Good to see him bounce back and make a statement. Just need consistency with this team.

I was harsh coming off of the loss as well but I felt it was understandable. It's not overly optimistic as well to say we have underperformed as a veteran team and should bounce back and be competitive for the PS. Let's take care of the rest of the games and we can have some idea of where we will be.

Except that one and 3 bad looks from 3 he's been playing like a star though and carrying the team. Loved his drives to the hoop and he's been playing some great D.

He made Kawhi earn those points. He was always a decent on ball stopper. It's when he gambles, like Rondo, that he becomes a headscratcher.

Gambling on defense is not a very consistent strategy unless you have Lebron and Wade constantly roaming the passing lanes. While playing solid man to man defense and knowing when and where to rotate don't give you more opportunities for easy fastbreaks, you'll have better chances to box out and rebound.

If Parsons can become a solid 2 way player who is slightly better offensively, then I am comfortable with keeping him. All in all, I don't have too many complaints with the guy apart from his shooting inconsistencies. Not everyone can be Kawhi afterall.

Im expecting Splitter will have a career night on the inside.. We are complete trash on defense (and offense, now that I think about it).

Regardless, ill be watching and hoping for the best.. Made it through the 90s, so it can always be worse.

I started watching in 2005/2006 and this season is more stressful than 2012-2013 season when we had O.J. Mayo, Chris Kaman, Elton Brand, Darren Collison/Mike James as our starters ....

I started watching and following the Mavs in 1992. Trust me seasons like this are stressful but nowhere near as bad as those 90's teams were. Even that 2012-13 season they came close to 50 wins. That first year I started following the team they won 13 games the entire year. Haha

It's nice to see the duo bounce back and Parsons quietly improving. But we have to stay focused on the rest of the games. Spurs torch the OKC for nearly 40 points. I expect a dogfight next game in San Antonio. And then we'll face the Pacers which humilate us on last matchup. They just won over the Wizards. Then comes the OKC and Suns. Nothing is given. You have to stay aggressive on both ends.
