Very solid signing. I'm happy with Jefferson getting 15-minutes a night. Solid defense and deadly from 3-point land.

Great signing. This is exactly the job of veteran minimum depth Dallas needs to fill out the roster especially with Parsons and Matthews coming off injuries.

Re: Mavs to re-sign Richard Jefferson
yep this is fine. Should have some DNP-CD nights but can come in and spot start and play 25-28 on occasion. Most of the time I hope he's about an 8-12 mpg who spaces the floor and knows where he is supposed to be. Plus he seems like a great teammate/guy.

Carlisle really loves the guy. The ultimate professional. Great for the locker room too. With the absence of Rondo and Monta I expect the team chemistry to be amazing this year.

Not anymore. Going to Cle to carry Lebron's extra jersey.
Why had dallas become so unappealing to players? Maybe they see the future here.

I don't blame him. Hes old and is chasing a ring. That's fine.
This means more opportunities for Justin Anderson, Jeremy Evans, and other younger players.. So it will probably benefit both parties.

Mavs to re-sign Richard Jefferson
Yea this should mean more minutes for guys like Justin Anderson. Plus it leaves an open roster spot. Cuban said this morning that they are still looking for an athletic rim protector. McGee may still be the guy but there are also rumors of Kenneth Fareid.

More playing time to develop Anderson. This hurts depth injury insurance a bit.

Fine with us, time to get young.
At least professional about it, hope the best for him he was solid for us.
