Im from the NYC area and watched him with the Knicks, certainly not a deep shooting threat or big scorer, but can bang inside and provide energy.

Haha, just joking that I see him flying in and out of the rotation ala Charlie. I do like the signing though, but I think he's tried adding a 3pt shot in Sacramento.

I'm really happy about this. Acy is no all star obviously, but he is a good rebounder and has shown signs of improving as a shooter. I think he has a chance to get minutes and help out next season.

He better hope he's added a 3-pt shot because I don't see Rick giving him much run otherwise. Decent depth signing, but I don't see him in the rotation at this point.

Acy was a 38% 3 point shooter last season on limited minutes. He's at least shown himself to be a more reliable shooter than Powell.

Solid deal. Looks like both Durant-Finley Smith and Argentina kid won't make the team. We are looking at Thanasis Antetokounmpo as well. There's a chance that Acy will actually play PF/C instead of his normal position SF/PF.

This reminds me of the Aminu signing. Hopefully it turns out as well, but we actually keep him this time.

It seems like we are avoiding signing the 35 year olds who used to be good but now are in the twilight of their careers. Seems like we are trying to develop some young players for the future.

I like this signing a lot. Wouldn't have been my first choice but he does provide some of what we need in that he can provide tough minutes at the 4, can stretch the floor and is a solid enough rebounder. Advanced stats are pretty handy too, seems to make a team better by being on the floor.

Would have preferred a 4/5 rather than a 3/4 - but hey ho.
