I cannot see any rational, sane reason to not give AJ Hammons some playing time tonight with Bogut injured. Unfortunately Hammons probably won't see any time since he is in the career killing prison called Carlisle's doghouse.

He is a rookie, and our coach is Rick Carlisle, what additional information do you want? Rick would not have started Lebron until his sophomore year.

Explain undrafted rookie Finney Smith starting then.If Carlisle can let an undrafted rookie start he can let a guy we drafted play 10 minutes or so a game. Irrational on Carlisle's part but I guess we got to take the good with the bad

With Finney Smith, he really did not have much of a choice. If I remember correctly, we were really down on the perimeter when he got his first start, and Carlisle obviously liked what he saw. He also likes small ball, so he will put out many lineups before even thinking about giving Hammons playing time. Hopefully once it is obvious for everybody that we aren't making the playoffs, it will change. We never saw Carlisle not coaching for the playoffs, we will see it this season.
