OMax makes an impression. While a bit nervous, OMax does control the conversation. That's Avery Johnson 's voice with leadership potential. Lively is not as lively and soft-spoken than Tyson Chandler. DL seems to be bothered by something. Getting traded down? Pressure matching up with Chet very soon? Defensive-only role? Lively does not like the Chandler comparison and talks about KG and Hakeem instead. Is Lively unhappy with Dallas? Let gives an all-year front roll seat at AAC to Lively's mum.

You’re reading WWWWWAAAAAAYYYYY to much into this.

1. This kid has had the longest, most exciting, most nervous 4 days of his life. I’m confident his energy is not at 100 percent. He’s thinking about his dad, he needs to get himself a home in Dallas, his mom is really his only family so I’m sure he need to get her a home too. And he has summer league this week. He’s got a lot going on.

2. Lively is a smart kid. No kid is that picky about draft order. And he doesn’t have a defense only role. Dallas isn’t calling plays for him but he will play a key role on offense. He spent all last season on Duke without a creator that could get the ball to him. Now he has Luka and Kyrie to do that. He loves the fit in Dallas.

3. They automatically give family seats near the court to begin with.

On a team, where Bullock plays the pf position, he has to not only hold his own, but also cover for the crappy forward rotation and thus be a star stud center himself. That he is not.

As to opponent fg allowed inside, he's slightly below average, fg allowed in restricted area - 70.8, for comparison, Bam Adebayo 69.8, Poeltl 68.7, Jaxon Hayes 71, Nikola Jokić 71.7,

For the same money as Powell, the Mavs could have Jakob Poeltl.

What we’re saying is you go get Poeltl to start, have lively as his back up, and put Powell in the 3rd string for specific situations. Like back to backs, or when Poeltl needs to rest. Injuries as well. He can also be used effectively against certain line ups. He’s rarely injured. You can’t do better than Powell for a cheap, end of the bench, situational player.

Powell isn't cheap.

What? What every drugs you’re on could you share?

Poeltl is going to get 80 million over 4 years. Powell is going to get 8 million over 3 years. Maybe 12 over 3 at the most.

No one is going to pay Poeltl $20 mil per year with the new CBA in place. The 2nd apron tax/penalties prevent players like Poeltl from making that kind of money.

Correct on Powell. Only if/when Powell resigns with the Mavs, they will definitely overpay for Powell. Where Powell couldn't get $5 mil per year on the open market and anything past 2 years, the Mavs will gladly resign him for $10 mil per year and a minimum of 4 years. Sigh.

If Powell won’t take a back of the bench contract, then you say thank you for your time here, don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

At this point in Powell's career, he should be a league minimum player.

I’m gonna make you eat crow next week with Poeltl resigns with the Raptors for 20 million per year. If stein is reporting it already it’s practically in the books.

See this is why we can’t talk about Powell. Y’all just say stupid untrue ****. What is the point of all this if y’all are just going to act dumb?

After stealed 70M here? Will he has the courage to sign elsewhere? It would be a beautiful story

I don’t think you understand how bad most backup centers are in the NBA. Powell is easily in the top half of backups.

I don't care. He can't play in the PO. He sucks.
He is the best waves towels in the world.
I wish the best to him and you.
Away from Dallas possibly.

Holmes + McGee + Lively II + Maxi is sufficient for the C rotation. No more waste on the roster spot and money here. If we target for an upgrade on the C position, 2 of these 4 need to be going out at the same time.

Lively looks like Sanada Yukimura in Japanese TV program.

Yukimura is regarded as the top samurai in Japanese history by Tokugawa who nearly got defeated despite outnumbering Yukimura.

Hopefully, Lively could be the same kind of presence on court.
