It might be near the time to throw in the towel, but not yet.

This might just be one of those years.

But.....I remain optimistic as always

Yikes. The offense is soooooo bad. I knew the offense would struggle but this is a joke.

The Rays no longer generate runs through aggressiveness, have lost much of the team speed that they used to have, have become station to station on the base paths, continue to give up the outer half of the plate, and not a single player on the team other than Loney has any concept that you can not attempt to pull a breaking ball that is breaking away.

I would love to know what the team percentage for contact is on breaking balls on the putter half of the plate.

This is the worst offensive stretch that I can ever remember for this team (including the bad years).

It is very difficult to watch game after game.
