Profar Time?

Post#1 » by catalyst » Tue Aug 14, 2012 4:13 pm

Rumors around from wiretap and dmn that Jurickson Profar will be promoted following the designated for assignment from Alberto Gonzalez. I have seen him in Frisco. Very skinny, but should be a great player. Such excitement. I cannot believe other stories that Rangers turned down a King Felix for Profar, but still love the thought of the future. It is so amazing what a thought out plan and dedicated money can do in MLB.

story from wiretap

When the Rangers go back to a four-man bench they could promote Double-A infielder Jurickson Profar.

Texas officials said on Monday that "it's been discussed."

The Rangers have used a three-man bench since reliever Mark Lowe was activated off the disabled list on Friday.

Profar is the No. 1 ranked prospect in the Rangers organization.

I doubt King Felix was available, so I won't believe any of those rumors, because him and Seattle have a great deal of respect/loyalty. I know loyalty, haha. Both parties have been on record to saying that they plan to continue as things are for hopefully the rest of the Felix's career.
