SI.com's Tom Verducci wrote an article today titled "Handicapping the AL wild-card race." He looks at Boston, Tampa Bay, Texas and Seattle in that order. Here's what he says about the Rangers:
The case for: They might actually have a better shot of winning the division in what is an alarming switch of identities: the Rangers have the better pitching and defense and the Angels win with offense.
