Why in the hell are we playing the infield in when down 6 runs? Who cares if we give up another, lets maximize our chances at getting an out and ending this inning.

Embarrassing all around performance tonight.

That was good! But leave Camden Yards alone, that park is special.

A real turning point I found was when Lough tagged on that shallow fly to Melky in the 5th. I know things didn't really unravel until later, but, you've gotta be more aware on that type of play. Don't get me wrong, Melky's been great this year.

Something has to be done about the pitchers allowing all of these uncontested stolen bases too.

I think I've only been mad after 3 losses this year. The Minnesota walkfest, last night's game blowing the 6-1 lead, and tonight's game. I know there are games of ups and downs in a 162 game season. However, good teams find ways to win the series especially when the victory is in their lap.

Thank goodness that's over. I remember when I used to love B-more rolling in. It used to be disappointing if we only took 2 outta 3... Ohhhh how the mighty have fallen.

The BABIP gods were not kind tonight to the Jays.

AA's love fest for Esmil Rogers is sickening, dude is a straight up scrub yet still keeps him on the roster. Fire this clown. Sierra sucks ass but his out of options also so he keeps a bunch of scrubs on the roster

Sierra being on the roster has nothing to do with options and everything to do with needing a platoon bat after losing Davis/DeRosa. It isn't optimal to say the least but that's partially the product of not having anything to spend beyond what the players are willing to defer.

On the bright side, Hutchison is pitching well right now. Keep him on a 150 IP limit this season and then let him loose in 2015. The Jays haven't developed a good pitcher in many years that I'm afraid they will mess this up somehow. A 23-year old with strike out ability and poise in the AL East is a huge asset.

As far as this team, it's an 80-85 win team that made no upgrades this off-season. They are playing about how I expected, more or less (Buehrle aside). Another wasted elite season by Bautista would be really frustrating at this rate. The chances of developing a hitter like that again is very, very slim.

Early bullpen overuse could be coming into play here. You know it's bad when you need Redmond to pitch a single inning to close out a blowout, despite the fact he pitched the night before. That's about as far as you can get from optimal long guy usage.

Rogers is rapidly pitching himself off the roster. I must say I'm pretty surprised; I thought he'd be a useful swing guy this year. His performance raises the question of whether his innings surge last year resulted in an injury.

It may be time to bring in some pitching reinforcements. Fortunately we have a bunch of available options, each of which is likely to bring an improvement over what we've seen so far from some of these guys.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

unleash the jenkins, who will probably be more useful than the jenkem we've been trotting out there the past couple series

The bullpen sucking is confusing and I don't like it. Really, Cecil? I thought you were cool.
