I can see Guillermo being fired in the next week or so, if this team continues to hit the way they are. Guillermo will be made the scapegoat for this team's record, allowing Atkins to buy more time.

Vlad and Bo - two generational hitting prospects that are in their prime - have only gotten worse under Guillermo, to the point they have both started the year below replacement level. Kirk, a guy who has been a great hitter at every level and also in his prime, is even worse. Why is it that often our best hitters are vets that just arrived to the organization, such as Belt last year and Turner this year? How many hitters have improved during Guillermo's reign of terror? None come immediately to mind. I'm sure there must be some, but it's got to be a very short list.

We've blamed the front office plenty too. But there's plenty of blame to go around for the current state of this team.

We've blamed the front office plenty too. But there's plenty of blame to go around for the current state of this team.

We need a hard reset. Fire the entire FO and all the coaches (except Walker). Then rebuild.

Yup. In the last 7 years, Atkins has given contracts to three Managers for the Jays. All three haven't worked out.

At some point, you need to ask if the problem isn't the Managers, but the person hiring them.

This team has a -31 run differential I think this is just who they are lol
