A very bad one too.

Which guys do you think are available today?

It would seem one or both of Bass or Garcia are not available based on this decision. Mayza too possibly?

What about Romano? Seems like he’s been pitching every day. But this is something I don’t really pay close attention to.

He hasn't pitched much this week. Only one time in the last five days (yesterday).

Romano can't throw a FB for a strike. Looks like our 1 run luck has run out.

Kirk would have climbed the netting like Spider-Man and caught that.

Not optimistic about this one.

Romano doesn't have it today.

One of the best hitters in the league up with the bases loaded and nobody out. We're cooked.

Damn tough one from Jordan worst he's looked this year.

He's had a few bad outings. But every closer does.

Romano's got nothing. Would have been nice to officially end the Orioles season today, but that will have to wait.

Bad defensive deployment....bases loaded, and still shifting... Not one hard hit ball. That was right to ghost SS if he was there.

Is Kirk on the IL or can we somehow bring him in to PH. There's no way we're getting anything with the bottom of the order

There have actually been 3 hard hit balls, and another that came within 1.3 mph of being “hard hit”.

Yeah Romano got crushed that inning. I question whether a hitter as good as Adley should be shifted in that spot but he more than deserved his fate there.

Romano just does not have it today. He has been outstanding this past month. Credit to the Orioles for their Hit and Run, that caused Espinal to move towards second base, and miss the ball that could have been a potential double play.

I wouldn't call chippie shots for the first two hits as hard hit, but each of their own. Anyways The hit and run took what was sure catch out of the play, and I still don't understand shifting with the bases load, leaving the whole left side open

Stowers led off the inning with a ball 103 MPH off the bat. Even the ball that Romano got the double play on was over 100 MPH.

He was crushed.

95+ mph qualifies as hard hit on Baseball Savant. Two of those balls were over 100 mph. Also, the lowest xBA of any of them was actually .400.
