Yes, but good pitching. On both sides.

Our offence looks great. I'm so glad we didn't sign a big bat in the offseason.

Jose needs to step up on desperate situations.

Yunel and Bautista need to wake the **** up. Thames and Lind should be gone.

[Insert comment about Prince Fielder & Rogers being cheap].

You post this after almost every low-run loss we suffer.

We'll have a bat added before the trade deadline. Bet it.

I'm considering paying for Prince Fielder myself just to shut up the board after every loss. Maybe we should have signed him and let Lawrie go 5-6 years down the road.

We may have just thrown away the most winnable game of the series..

In reference to all the complaining about needing offense, we did have just as many hits as the Orioles. I thought that Alvarez did a better job than Hunter (outside of the first inning) and I think that we would have won if someone else was in left field. We just need to limit the amount of HRs we give up.

yea, so much high up in the zone. i think farrell had a team strategy to run up hunter's pitch count and not hit early in the count. this kinda hurt us in the end, baltimore's bullpen has been very good

Tommy Hunter gives up 10 hits/ 9 innings in his career, we made him look better than he is tonight. especially when the only run we produce is by one of worst hitters.

I'm tired already of making mediocre or worse pitchers look good. Escobar is all show, no substance so far.

On the plus side, Alvarez had a great outing.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Hey did you know that Thames' .273 batting average is 3rd on the team? That home run was going to be a home run anyways. He didn't make an absolutely spectacular play there. There's bigger fish to fry than Thames. Lind on the other hand.

Well, that wasn't good. This is what happens sometimes when the majority of your offensive players aren't hitting (and the Royals aren't there to give you a free game), though.

That's debatable; It looked like it bounced off of his glove. Regardless, Thames should have caught that. You can bet that Rasmus or Bautista (and Snider, for that matter) would have caught that.
