Presumably as minor league filler. The last thing we need on the big club is lefty bat that can only play first.

“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

He's a decent-enough hitter against righties. Now, we have quite a few 1B/DH types that are decent-enough hitters against righties, but I guess at the price of free he can serve as the backup to the backup's backup.

Alex should bring in Michael Taylor next, just so the team can have Gose, Wallace, and Taylor on the roster simultaneously.

Plan the parade!
Anyone else find it funny the Jays are using the scraps from the team they're trying to catch?

And petition the league to allow us to use them as some sort of AAAA Cerberus...Wallace against righties, Taylor against lefties, Gose runs the bases/plays in the field. They might combine to be better than league-average!

Was listening to an interview with a Baltimore play by play guy the other day and he said at one time last winter it was in the works for Steve Pearce to possibly end up in Toronto "but he chose not to".... i would like those Scraps knowing what we now know.
You would think that AA would of tried for the lighting in the bottlle with some one who already went through the system

Redundant. He's going to play on the big club eventually.

I'm sure this is purely a AAA move. AA has made no secret that he wants Buffalo to be competitive and since Dan Johnson is up for the next couple of weeks, Wallace can fill his roster spot with the Bisons.

Look for Dan Johnson to pull a hammy running the bases next week and Wallace to replace him.
