Buehrle was terrible all game. It was sheer luck that he hadn't blown it before that point.

No; Canadian patriotism consists largely in doing nothing particularly patriotic and feeling superior to the US because of our lack of conspicuous displays of patriotism. Thus, on Sundays before the 7th inning stretch you might detect unusually high levels of smug from the crowd, if you're watching carefully.

Now how to get through the 8th inning again.

Unsurprisingly, Redmond isn't a solution to that problem.

He can handle righties just fine, its Gibby's fault for misusing him, he should be a ROOGY

He just gave up a double to a RHB. But obviously the problem with using Redmond in high leverage spots is that he has a history of giving up the long ball.

That does sound like us, but what about hockey? I'm sure hockey has to be involved somehow.

Goins, Diaz, and Getz were brought up over Kawasaki. Amazes me.

And given that we weren't adding a new middle infielder in the offseason, everyone here knew he should be on the team and not in Buffalo. No one on the Jays management team felt that way though for some reason

Gibby has always made it clear he was a Kawasaki supporter. This goes further up.

Apparently Janssen needs the intensity of a save situation to pitch well? Up to Loup then.
