Sounds like something large is about to go down.

Edit: Mets seem focused on Gomez.

Maybe Bautista for Thor. That would be a total kick in the face.

Re: Around The MLB 2015 Edition
Something crazy is happening to that Latos trade to the Dodgers. Now the Braves are the third team and there's like a ton of their young players going to LAD:

If Wood and Peraza are going to LA, I think ATL's getting something good. I assume it's only a 3-way 'cause that competitive balance pick is heading to ATL in the much larger trade.

Guessing Dodgers balked at Ruben Amaro's asking price Hamels so they settled for Latos instead. Hamels' can't be a Philly after Friday right?? wouldn't be surprised if he was though, Amaro going to Amaro. Unless LA is going to use the pieces in this deal in a potential deal with Philly

Stay classy Mets. Wilmer Flores is part of the Gomez trade. They leave him in the game while he's crying in the field.

The Rangers are getting Hamels for the same reason the Jays got Tulo; for 2016 and beyond.
Not sure what the Braves are doing if that deal has gone through.

Apparently that trade collapsed and won't happen. Awkward.

But he rejected a trade to Houston. Who chooses Arlington over Houston?

Pineda has been put on the DL, likely out 2-4 weeks.

Re: Around The MLB 2015 Edition
The Dodgers, Marlins and Braves have swung what one of the most complex three-team trades in recent history. The “basic” structure of the deal (though there’s nothing basic about this move) is as follows: the Dodgers will receive right-hander Mat Latos and first baseman Michael Morse from the Marlins. They’ll also add top prospect Jose Peraza and pitchers Alex Wood, Bronson Arroyo, Jim Johnson and Luis Avilan from the Braves. Atlanta, in turn, will receive Cuban infielder Hector Olivera, lefty Paco Rodriguez and minor leaguer Zachary Bird from the Dodgers. The Braves are also picking up Miami’s Competitive Balance Round A pick in next year’s draft (No. 35 overall). The Marlins will come out of this deal with three minor league pitchers — Kevin Guzman, Jeff Brigham and Victor Araujo — plus the financial relief of shedding the remaining $14.3MM that is owed to Latos and Morse. Each team has announced the trade’s completion.

The Twins win, Yankees, Angels, Orioles and White Sox lose.
So the Jays are tied with the O's -- 2 games back of the Twins for the 2nd WC, 4 games back of the Angels for the 1st WC, and 6 games back in the East.
