I guess the Revere trade gave it away already, but it's official now. It's a little worrisome that Saunders is taking this long to recover from a meniscus surgery. At the time of the injury, even the longest estimate of his return was around the All-Star break. I'm guessing that coming back early resulted in a major setback for him.

Good. I don't see why we want/need a guy with a .301 career OBP who strikes out a ton.

"Shocking"

I don't understand why he isn't on the 60-day DL to add another body to the 40-man roster.

A Saunders article? That means it's time to check in on J.A. Happ!

Unbeknownst to me, turns out he was traded to Pittsburgh recently. In Seattle, he put up a typical Happy season of ~4 FIP, ~1.4 WHIP, and according to FG, 1.4 WAR. All averaging just slightly more than five innings per start.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

I always wondered if Saunders & Stroman had been totally healthy the entire season, where we would be at? Hmmm :)
