Listening to Devlin and Shulman the past couple of weeks just drives home how terribly miscast Buck is at PBP.

Devlin even makes Tabler tolerable for me but finding a solid PBP guy to team with Buck needs to happen.

Nurse is below average at best.
Masai is overrated.
I dont get how so many people believe in the raptors, they have zero to chance to win it all.

When he's not a ridiculous homer , Devlin is very good.

I'm not opposed to homerism at all, as long As it isn't obnoxious, and I don't find Devlin to be over the top. As far as NBA broadcasters go there are far far worse Homers. Devlin does a good job. He's a little corny with the raps but I think that's what makes him entertaining.

I guess everyone is different, i find his homerism to be very cheesy and unoriginal.

Some of it he kinda got from Chuck like when the player makes the 3 pointer and he calls out a city.

I actually like when he calls out city names, regardless of whether he copied Chuck or not. Shows that he cares enough about his job and Canada to do a little research into the various cities/towns here.

Apparently during the playoffs, he called out Pond Inlet in Nunavut and the people there went nuts over it

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/north/nunavut-twitter-raptors-pond-inlet-1.3579595

"That was a long three, and Pond Inlet came right to my mind. It's great there's been a reaction to it. Obviously there are so many great basketball fans [in the North]. I'm happy to recognize Nunavut, and Pond Inlet specifically, when there's well over a million people watching the game."

Barney leading off and playing LF. Alright then...

Carrerra must be hurt. It would explain why Lake keeps getting starts.

They mentioned last night that Carrera was injured, I can't remember what it was though.

Corbin has been absolutely rocked his last 4 starts. Stroman should get great run support, again.

Yah, I've been on vacation the past week so haven't heard the broadcasts. I looked into it and it looks like his Achilles is acting up again. It's too bad Saunders is also sore. Welp, he can't be that bad. We've seen Colabello play out there so it can't get worse.

Saunders is out because of a personal matter.

No Carrera and no Saunders isn't the worst situation in the world with a lefty on the mound but it certainly cuts down on the number of pinch hitters.

Ah ok, I figured he was hurting a bit to be left out today with Carrera also hurting.

I'm definitely not going to miss seeing Lake out there once Bautista is back.

Can Stroman go at least one inning without giving up a run?

What is Lake thinking? We could have been up 3-1.

There was no need to stretch a double to a triple with 0 out

Pillar is really struggling at the plate. .291 OBP going into this game.
