I'm surprised that Bats has fallen off the cliff so quickly. He keeps himself in better shape than most.

This season is spiralling away rather quickly.

I wonder whether we're closing in on a record for most series lost to begin a season. I mean, we didn't even manage to split the two-gamer against the Brewers; going 0-5 to begin a year has to be pretty rare.
