Was at the game. Nice to see our lineup look legit again with JD and Tulo back. Travis is absolutely on another planet right now. He'll be hitting .280+ by mid-June at this rate. Nice to see my boy Smoak hit one out too. Our section was giving it to Odor in the ninth inning, so kinda embarrassing he hit the homer afterwards lol.

PS. some tough ABs for Pillar today, hopefully it's just a small slump and not the start of a regression to the mean for him.

Read on Twitter

Looks like a pitchers duel for game 2 although after game 1, Travis has moved to 7th in all MLB wRC+ for May, Bautista 11th, and Smoak 18th. We're facing Darvish but we have Estrada going. Estrada's FIP is currently lower than either of his last 2 seasons, a FIP of 3.27. He is walking less batters per 9, striking out more per 9 but giving up close to 8 hits a game rather than the stingy 6.7 or 6.8 from the last 2 seasons.

Also about Travis, steamer projected him to have a 1.2 fwar season. He's had a 1.1 fwar month of May alone, he met his projection in a month and just needs to be better than he was in April the rest of the season to pass his steamer.

Love Gibbons reaction about Josh Donaldson and Troy Tulowitzki not being in the lineup today. "If you don't like it, stay home."

Great pitching match-up today! Lets go for the series win!

Morales has really settled in after a slow start. Lineup starting to look dangerous

Damn Morales is slow, gets a head start and still can't score on a single to right field

That'll do nicely, JoBau.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Joe west is awful. Two horrible strike calls completely change two bases loaded at bats.
