Four Blue Jays named to the All-Star team - Gausman, Whit, Bo and Vladdy. Odd to see such a medicore team record-wise with that many all-stars.

Well two of them don't deserve it.

Love to see it, Whit. Great situational hitting.

What defensive expert do we have at Short, and where is he hiding Bo's body?

Have we figured out why our all-star didn't pinch hit for Biggio with the game on the line on Saturday?

Bo can't turn a DP on a hard hit ball and it turns into 3 immediately. What a horrific pitch from Bassitt.

I guess it might be too much too ask for this offensively challenged team to score at least 4 runs tonight? Hoping that it not too much to ask.

He has been trash offensively all year, except for a few good games offensively once a while. One of the factors why this team is life and death to score more than 4 runs a game more often than not.

Turns out you actually need to score runs to win. Which this team is incapable of doing.

edit: Vladdy. Needed it.

I know its a fairly standard move to bring in Biggio to pinch run for Belt, but not sure if I would do that with 0 outs (not 2 outs) in the eighth, where there is a decent probability Belt would have been coming back to bat in the 9th with the Jays down (since the Sox still had to get 6 more outs),

As I type this, the above becomes largely irrelevant - way to go Vlad!

It was right on the edge of when you could take Belt out, but I wasn't opposed.

Who would that be - I assume Vlad and Whit?

Heard the other day Jays got 4, but would have never guessed it was Whit. The second base position must be really weak in the AL - last year we got Espinal.. this year Whit.

Is there somebody that earned it more than Whit, or just a ****** crop of AL second baseman,

It was. I could have lived with either.

I guess the bigger concern is that your #3 hitter (Belt) is so meh, that the calculus to take him out with a likely AB remaining is supportable.
