if we trade the #11 for a vet it better be a damn good player.
im sick of the nuggets "throwing away" draft picks, as if they arent valuable. as if we are already strong enough of a team (i fear that tim/josh will use injuries as an excuse and actually believe we are still a 50 win team). I hope the front office was paying attention last year but we arent a good team. we are far from a contending team. we need all the help we can get - and a lotto pick, in a deep draft, on a really good contract is a good place to start.
do not trade for another darrrel arthur or aaron brooks type player. we have PLENTY of them. we need some good young talent that can give us a chance in the future.
there will be a ton of teams lining up to offer some average veteran role player for a lotto pick. they will get younger, probably save money and probably end up with the better player. any team would LOVE to be able to make that swap.
