I would agree that the deal wasnt that good for the Royals, only cause he probably wont be re-signed. The Royals arent in the playoffs without him, and a guy thats gonna give 200+ innings like every year is a pretty valuable.

out of Jon Lester / James Shields / Max Scherzer, I would love nothing more than Max to be signed with the Dodgers, but frankly any one of this trio would do the job.
