he sure looked nice hitting that grand slam over the right field fence.

oh and he sure looked nice picking up the slack for every other **** start made by Giants starting pitching.

You should really look up what single handily means.

The Giants averaged well over 4 runs a game during the playoffs. Doesn't sound like something that a pitcher playing only one ever 4 games is single handily doing.

"The Giants Rock!"

"No, the Giants are awesome!"

"No, they're pretty much the best baseball team ever"

"Better than the Dodgers, no doubt!"

This is an argument I can get behind.

**** Sample Size. I don't care if Kershaw has pitched 0.00 era in 1,000,000 regular season innings. He still has blown in the playoffs. End of story.

Quake Griffin is right we should just start ignoring the Dodgers and find ourselves another Rival who doesn't completely suck the D.

I start watching baseball when playoffs start. So Bumgarner it is. I've never seen Kershaw pitch before.

You must mean that you only watch the World Series, something Kershaw has never been apart of before

Bumgarner or Kershaw?

It's a close call but I would still slightly edge to take Kershaw. Even with Bums post season numbers you can't leave out Kershaws April-September performances year after year.

But for 162 games April-September, Kershaw is the man.

And that's the problem for the Giants. They might (do) have the best postseason pitcher on the planet but it does them no good if they don't make the playoffs, which is a real possibility for them this year. That said, I think Bumgarner took a step to the next level in these playoffs and I won't be surprised if he's an even better regular-season pitcher this year, although we'll have to see what toll the extreme workload of last year's playoffs takes.
