So, how do you think NL Central is going to go down this season?

Theo deals for another pitcher before the deadline and Cubs get a WC spot.

Not a clear cut winner like in year's past, each team has their own share of questions.

1.) St. Louis Cardinals - Aging core should be able to hold on, pitching staff has health questions.
2.) Pittsburgh Pirates - Lost one of their core players, and pitching is due for regression.
3.) Chicago Cubs - Young, exciting team with hitters on the verge of making the big league team but lack of pitching hurts.
4.) Milwaukee Brewers - Got off to a torrid start last year, and faltered. I anticipate somewhere in between the two extremes last year.
5.) Cincinnati Reds - Should be more competitive than last year, but aging core and limited pitching.

For the upcoming 2017 season, I can see 3 teams from the NL Central make the playoffs, barring injuries.

1.) Cubs
2.) Cardinals
3.) Pirates
4.) Brewers
5.) Reds

Should be a lackluster year with only the Cubs and Cardinals competing.
Pirates on the fence with Reds and Brewers on the low end.

Cubs will go back to being the Cubs, hopefully for another century.
