Nobody scores against the Nats starters. 44+ IP consecutively without runs allowed by them and it could extend a lot more with Scherzer going up again tonight against the awful Phillies, although its at Citizens Bank Park which is always a bandbox.

Giancarlo Stanton has a broken bone in one of his hands. He's getting minor surgery and will be out at least 4-6 weeks.

Why can't we just have some fun for once?

Dipoto out in Anaheim.

Looks like Mike Scioscia has Arte Moreno in his pocket.

got kind of a raw deal.

Albert and Hamilton weren't his calls.

blah whatever. It's the Angels. I hope it all goes to hell and they rebuild to another hell.

A little random thought but Im surprised the White Sox haven't shopped Sale around in years past, this dude is absolutely dominant on a team that won't win a thing. Trading Sale along with Jeff Samardzija would bring them some serious prospects to build on for the future.

I remember when the Braves had our number. Ohh have the tables have turned. Good to get the Shelby Miller monkey off our back too.

yep.
team friendly deal for him as well means they'll get a nice haul.

I'd restock their farm system if they took Carl Crawford off of our hands.
He's worth a Julio Urias to me.

solid international signing day for the Dodgers.

looked like they were going to get every top prospect at first. now it looks like that team up north got their hands on Lucius Fox.
