it's just nuts how snakebit the Dodgers were by injury. They pretty much suffered all of these losses within the last week of the regular season and a player went down every other game as the playoffs progressed.

The Braves lost their Ace at the onset of the season and lost the best player in the National League mid-season. **** outta here with this nonsense. lmfao at the Joe Kelly and Scherzer additions as well. "Dead arm". Yeah, it's called the post-season and being outworked because they were struggling.

LEGGGOOOOO BRAVES!!!

Marcel Ozuna, the reigning NL home run champion, also was out after the first month.

Of there's one team that doesnt get to use the injury excuse, it's the Dodgers and their massive payroll. On paper they're still more talented than the Braves.

No wonder they took the team away from Seattle.

How come the Braves got home field advantage over a team with 20 more RS wins?

Awesome. Now we can watch a team that literally cheated it’s way to a World Series a few years ago win another one.

They won the division, Dodgers didn't. Not saying it's right, just the rule.

If you find cheating annoying, you literally should not watch baseball at all.

Yea, but at least you suffered your injuries before the trade deadline and gave you time to rejigger the team to compensate.

If we lost 2 of our best bats before the trade deadline, instead of game 162 of the regular season and Game 4 of the NLCS, maybe we coulda gone out and got a Joc Pederson or Eddie Rosario bat to replace them. Instead we're forced to start absolute unknowns cuz there was no way to replace them.

Trea and Scherzer were obtained at the deadline cuz Bellinger's bat was heinous during the regular season and Bauer is a women beater. Timing of injuries means everything.

Those talking about injuries forget the Braves lost their entire outfield, including a top 5 player in the game in Acuna.

Not to mention their expected ace - Soroka.

Dodgers literally had to pitch 3 “bullpen games” in the series because they didn’t have enough starters healthy. Not to mention two middle of the order guys hurt.

You can’t win the Championship Series like that. No team could do it.

The Dodgers still have 3 quality starters, it's their fault that they wasted them by having them come out of the bullpen. Astros/Braves are each dealing with big injuries to starting pitchers. That's baseball. The fact that the Dodgers even with all those injuries, still have more all stars in their lineup shows how absurd their spending advantage is compared to other teams.

Agreed. The Dodgers over reliance on the idea of a bullpen game and early hooks (just like any other team nowadays) ruined any opportunity to make up for the loss of Bauer, Kershaw and Scherzer. I personally don’t mind the Dodgers spending like they’ve been and trying to win. Doesn’t mean I always root for them. I think the Dodgers being really good is good for baseball as a whole, though.
