NFL 2012 Contest Sign-Up Thread

Some of you are familiar with the NBA and MLB contest that have been going on this year. I intend on hosting one for the NFL as well. I would like to gauge the interest so reply to this thread if you're interested.

The buy-in will be $10, and the winner takes all, so the payout will be substantial depending on how many people participate. PAYMENT: Your $10 can be made via paypal as a GIFT or by mail depending on what you prefer. PAYOUT will be made via mail. PM me for email address to send your buy-in.

The contest will consist of questions that relate to the game, players, total points scored in a game, and other props. For instance:

1) Atlanta +2 @ Tampa Bay
2) Atlanta @ Tampa Bay O/U 42 points (Total combined score of the game)
3) Will Michael Vick rush for a touchdown in week one?

For the entire season it's a one time fee of $10 for your buy-in. The winner takes all so the payout could be very good. I'd like to start things off shortly after the projected win totals come out.

I expect a large turnout so there won't be a many weekly contest picks. I want to start things off with the projected win totals as the first pick, division winners like the NBA contest, and possibly rookie of the year. The more people, the bigger the payout.

I'm considering having a separate contest for the pick'em on yahoo as well. I think that would be interesting if we would have a decent amount of people to join. That would also have a buy-in and as always the winner takes all.

Any suggestions or feedback is always welcome.

Id be down for picking as many games as possible, helps make comebacks easier and relies more on skill than luck (though involves a large amount of luck)

I prefer less options since I have to keep track of the scoring. It's going to depend on how many people participate, I expect the turnout to be large, but I could be wrong, so we'll see what the numbers look like when the time comes.

I could see this one gaining traction and winding up like 40 or 50 heads.
