Per Wiretap the Raiders are discussing with San Antonio officials for a potential move there

San Antonio Raiders. Silver and Black just like the Spurs, but sure as heck not the same model of success.

I'd love to see it. SA is a great city and they deserve an actual football team. They don't really have a college program other than the Roadrunners and the HS football in that area is great.

I still think they end up in LA when all is said and done.

Hope not, I was born in L.A. & still say they DON'T DESERVE another nfl team. But the only way i'd still watch the nfl if they 4ced a transplanted team here against my wishes it will have 2 be raiders only. Mainly cause their last owner died. Definitely didn't want them back if he could live 4ever. They blew their chance with the expansion...well the coliseum cartel did by sticking their nose where it didn't belong & sabotaged everything  Of course had the nfl had stopped with that gay 2 team crap, the raiders still might be in L.A. 1 is enough. Plus so-cal got too many sports team as is. Sure as hell don't need 2 soccer teams

3 televised nfl day games on sunday in a landslide > 1 televised nfl game with a team in so-cal.

The rams or chargers can go to San Antonio instead. Would be better for the players, no state tax. 3rdworldcountryfornia is too expensive to live in :(

Makes sense, both the Spurs and Raiders are similar franchises in terms of how they function.

that's different though, there was already a built in fanbase there from oiler fans who would never root for the cowboys. id venture to say at least 70% of football fans in san antonio are cowboys fans.

Time to move back to LA imo. I need a team to root for.

I don't see Raiders to San Antonio happening. The Raiders are Oakland til they die. The Raiders are ****ed up and degenerate, just like Oakland is ****ed up and degenerate; the two are a perfect fit for eachother. Breaking up Oakland and the Raiders would be a crime against nature.

I know Ice Cube made the (2nd worst*) 30 for 30 documentary, Straight Outta L.A., about the strong connection between the Raiders and Los Angeles back in the 80s, but the Raiders are just too grimey and gritty, oily and ****ty, to be an LA team. What LA needs is the Jaguars.... a team with no ties to the area, is still quite young, yearns for a fresh start because it doesn't feel appreciated or that it'll ever reach it's full potential in its hometown of Jacksonville, and moves to LA with dreams of becoming a star (Super Bowl contender).

That screams L.A. to me.

I mean, I'm a Niners fan from SF, so I want all the bad things in life to happen to the Raiders (...and the Seahawks), but IMO threatening to move the team is more posturing than anything else. I'd probably believe the threat was real if it was Al Davis who was threatening to move the team, because Al was bat**** insane (formerly a bat**** insane genius), but Mark Davis is a Ginger with a bowl cut. Mark doesn't have the chops to move the Raiders.

But if I was a betting man, I'd bet on the Chargers being the most likely team to move to L.A.

(* FWIW, "Once Brothers" is officially the worst 30 for 30 documentary ever. Even worse than "Four Days in October")

I don't support relocation, but they're the one thing I don't mind leaving California for Texas.
