Some statements are so ridiculous they should result in a timeout, so the poster can sit in a corner and think about what he wrote.

Watching the Seahawks' this year and the Ravens the year before was exciting.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;

Its all planned. And Goodell cant win. Pete carroll already knows that it slows the game. And having waay too many flags annoy and piss off fans. So Pete believes that you can take a few penalties in the beginning of a game. But 15-20 flags a game? No referee is goin to do that. So Petes DBs will keep hand fighting, keep chucking and keep grabbing receivers. Because there is no way you can call all of it. Its like holding at the line of scrimmage, you cant call every single holding penalty. The game will be 5 hours long. So the seattle seahawk holding of receivers will get called early. But in no way shape or form will the league and referees call each and every penalty the whole 4 quarters.

It depends. I really love watching two great defenses in a rivalry game late in the season, like all those big Ravens-Steelers games or the Seahawks-49ers from last year. Rivalry games are always so much better when both teams are just destroying each other.

Maybe if my team would have one or a team I want to lose is going against an elite d. It is very impressive for a team to have a low scoring d, or low yards allowed.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

I'm a Bears fan, so yeah I love watching great defense. It feels like the twilight zone now that our offense is better than our defense.

I love watching a doinate defense more than anything, and trying to make more offense is terrible, Good offense would be appreciated so much more if it was harder, (of course as a browns fan offense always looks hard). but its like in arena football not that much excitement for a touchdown since its so easy to score. but atleast in arena your still allowed to make big hits

Yea even as an outsiders it seems weird that bears have so many dynamic weapons offensively yet have a soft defense
