If Peyton Manning isn't a choker, I guess the term shouldn't be used for pro sports then.

He isn't. You don't accomplish what he has in this league if you're a choker.

I think the whole idea of professional athletes that spend almost every minute of every day perfecting their craft being unable to handle the pressure, when that's literally all they've done their entire lives, is pretty dumb.

You're either good, or you're not. Peyton Manning is great...so are guys like Tom Brady and Joe Montana. And they were all clearly a level above Kurt Warner.

What's strange is the average fan thinks that Favre is better than Warner and Kobe is better than Duncan. However, if you look at their playoff stats, the opposite is true, and it's not even close.

As a society, so we value swagger over efficiency?

He's also passed for more yards in Super Bowls than any other QB. It's not his fault they lost two of them.

I love Warner but I think that it is crazy to rank him ahead of Favre, Warner started his career late and had 4 bad/injury filled years. Favre has made the playoffs 12 seasons and had 11 pro bowls (not that it is a great indicator) Warner only played for 12 seasons in his career.

Farve is not the greatest of all time for sure but I think he is easily one of the top 10.

Bless your heart if you really think there is an argument to be had of Warner over Favre on any all-time great list.

By the way, what playoff stats are you talking about?

Farve playoff career averages: 86.3 QBR, 1.9 touchdowns, 1.3 INTs, 60.8 completion %, 244 yards per game, 7.4 yards per pass, 0 Superbowl MVP.

Warner playoff career averages: 102.8 QBR, 2.4 touchdowns, 1 INTs, 66.5 completion %, 304 yards per game, 8.6 yards per pass, 1 Superbowl MVP.

1). Montana is the greatest QB....also, Favre and Manning seem to choke in quite a few big games.

I definitely think it's between Montana and Brady with Montana having the slight edge.

If Manning isn't in your top 5 idk what to say. The guy is the best regular season qb ever and elite on every level. I guess you could say he's "choked" but so have Montana and Brady, so has Jordan, lots of hall of fame all time great athletes choke. It happens to the best. You can be an elite qb and choke.

Elway, hands down, is the best QB I've seen in the 20 years I've watched the NFL.

Better question would be: Is Brett Favre the greatest Quarterback in Packers History?

I know Manning has some playoff "chokes" but the fact is, every team he's on is a Super Bowl contender. Every year he has his teams playing meaningful games late. I think he's only had something like two losing seasons as a starter and one was his rookie year.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.
