I don't know that it was them as much as the backs, especially Murray, whiffing on picking guys up and Romo wasn't making the correct read quickly enough. He had guys getting open on on each sack if I recall correctly. I know Dez ran a hitch and was WIDE open on one of them, but Romo had apparently decided before the snap to focus on Witten, and he forced it to him for an incompletion. It was crazy that the Cowboys weren't running it more though, as they seemed to figure out how to counter Washington's early success against the run, and they were getting around 7.0 YPC. That overtime drive should have been a ton of running plays. Might as well. They had 4 downs each time to use in that circumstance. It should have been a huge advantage for them.

In short all offensive players did a bad job against the blitz
