Many teams could use a pass rusher. What's the message being sent by GM's that refused to sign him?

Considering he's a rookie and many rookies struggle early before they start playing well. A team like the Browns drafts Johnny but ignore Sam while they need pass rushers tells me it may be more of an issue of prejudice than anything.

sam is not the only pass rusher without a job, some players just dont have the physical tools and talent to play at the highest level

They are sending the message that he's not an NFL player right now. His baggage might not be worth it to some teams but if he can play in the NFL some team will sign him.

He went straight from a NFLer to drama queen overnight. Gay is 1 thing. Being a drama queen is quite another. And no NFL teams want that kind of baggage

His talent level is unexceptional by NFL standards and he spent the last year creating a media maelstrom while claiming that he wanted it to be all about the football. Going forward, he's going to attract a fair amount of attention for anything he does, from fairly focal media outlets that don't normally pay much attention to sports. What NFL team wants to deal with all that?
