Morten Andersen should go in the next class.

No. This is a position that gets put in a position to win or lose a lot of football games. It's a position just like any other and as long as that position exists and is put in that spotlight, it should be sending members to the Hall. Both Morten and Gary Anderson should be in there. Together they revolutionized what you expect from a kicker. Kickers were largely a bunch of straight, lace forward kicking goofs until Morten and Gary came into the league kicking soccer style, kicking with more power and more accuracy. Adam Vinatieri should and hopefully will get in. Matt Stover functioned as one third of the Ravens offense along with Jamal Lewis and the defense for about a decade, so I'd put him in. Janikowski should probably get in. I'm sure there are at least a couple more that are far more deserving of a yellow jacket than those guys they are digging 80 years into league history to induct.

Kicker is the most important position.-period.

aside from the kick off,the only purpose he serves is 'points'

hes the computer or math or science or english lesson geek in the class room.
no one cares about him until they need him real bad
