Chargers? They were 9th last year with a crappy line, a rookie who couldn't run because of the crappy line, and Keenan Allen who was leading the league in catches at the time, have a season ending injury halfway through. Gates was also suspended 4 games.

This year, they have a much improved line, Gates and Allen ready to go, Melvin Gordon having worked out with ADP over the summer and much more determined and added deep man threat Travis Benjamin who had 900 yards catching passes from Manziel and McCown.

But the easiest answer for your 5th is the Saints, who finished 2nd last year.

Off the top of my head, in terms of overall talent I think the top have are:

Cardinals
Steelers
Panthers
Packers
Patriots

Unrelated question for you. I have Terrance West in fantasy league but Forsett is a FA (as is Sproles). I loved Forsett last year. I know they were able to pick back up Forsett but why did they drop him in first place? Isn't he better than West?

it is an obvious cap maneuver imo. hard to trust anybody in rævens backfield unless you arē in a deep league.

It's only a 10 team deep league, gut the rosters are really deep with a lot of starters. I have West. Would you drop in for either of the other two?

few things going against forsett, trestman doesnt like to run in redzone and west is the bigger back thus more likely to be the goal line back if they do run. he also loses ground to buck allen in passing downs.

might have a good game here and there but probably not worth the headache long term unless you have a spot to waste. dixon might be good but he is an unknown at this point. i'd stick with west.

Would you drop Funchess for either Forsett or Sproles (considering you already have Terrance West).

Yeah, Forrest himself is saying he's the starter.

For sproles no, for forsett probably. Not crazy about funchess either, lot of mouths to feed in carolina.

If you could guarantee me a 2:1 TD:INT ratio and >60% completions from Prescott, I'd have yanked the Jags or Packers for you. Right now, he's too much of an unknown for me to be able to give Dallas that kind of love.

You might grab Forsett with the intention of him being a 2-4 week guy. Maybe he can get you through an early bye week. Do so with the caveat that if one of the other Raven backs really asserts himself that Forsett will quickly be dismissed to the back burner. Realistically, I expect to see carries being spread around quite a bit between him, Dixon and West with the intention that the younger guys will eventually grab the torch from him gradually as the season goes on. Forsett is an older back that was never a high potential guy. Frankly, he was a pleasant surprise that was never meant to be a long term answer at the position.

Even as a Panthers fan, I agree with this. Funchess will be a very, very high production WR a few years down the road. This year though, he will probably be the 4th guy in receiving yards behind Benjamin, Olsen, and Ginn. Love him to death, but I wouldn't value him very high in fantasy football.

I'll keep him as maybe one of those breakout guys for now. I have great WRs, so it's not like I really need him, but it's nice to have a guy in a big offense who could break out.

Time to put on the helmets and snap it on. Time for some old fashion ground and pound smash mouth NFC football today. Lets see how the Giants hold up to the best O-line in football. Cowboys should put up around 34+ points today.

I think Bluejerseyjinx is really Skip Bayless. C'mon Giants. Punish them!

Ouch, that's kind of a low blow to bjj, don't you think? I mean he and I don't always agree on everything either, but to call him Skip?
