I like Blount, and I do think he ends up back on NE, but I wouldn't mind seeing my Panthers pick him up for a reasonable price. I'm terrified right now that we draft Fournette.

Randy Moss wouldn't have been considered a "New England kind of guy to me" either, bleu. But he thrived there. I just refuse to underestimate the power of Belichick. If AP has any sense at all (I think he does), then this is the perfect place for him.

Peterson left New England without signing a contract.

Dude is demanding too much money. He's gonna have to settle, sooner or later.

He thinks he can walk on water. The bottom line though is that solid RB's are dime-a-dozen in today's NFL, and for an aging guy who brings as much drama to a locker room as him, a lot of teams won't be willing to pay what he wants.

Guess we'll see how bad he wants a ring then. Because teams competing for championships aren't giving him the biggest bag of money.

Zach Brown to the 'Skins, will they finally field a defense that can stop somebody?

That Timmy Jernigan trade is weird imo. Trading a solid player for 28 spots...

I can't imagine Peterson would be willing to go to New England based on all the concessions he'd have to make around playing time and salary. I think it's clearly just a mutually beneficial visit.

The Patriots send a message to Blount that they've got other options and he better sign soon. Peterson gets back in the headlines and potentially gets some teams thinking about him if Belichik is willing to have him in (also just to keep AP off that roster).

Love the guy. Was hoping he'd stay away from the game. Seeing him in another uniform is gonna be weird. He's a Hawk, man! I'd hate to see him come back & not look like the same BeastMode. I might have to pull for the Raiders this year!

if the Raiders and Lynch work it out that will make the raiders offense crazy scary they just need to plug a few holes defensively and the will be the threat to the Patriots i don't think anybody is going to want to play in Oakland during the play-offs

Anyways if the Raiders get both him and Lynch it would be a helluva AFC title game with the Patriots.

Sherm isn't going to be traded. That wasn't a report. Just a guy talking out of his ***. Not a real thing.

Seattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider confirmed Wednesday that the team has discussed trading cornerback Richard Sherman.

"What you've seen lately in the news is real," Schneider said

Original report is about seahawks having discussions not a completed trade, which is very much real.

It just amuses me when people make confident statements without having anything to back it up.

The rumor actually is that the team wants a "good player" & high draft pick.

http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/armando-salguero/article143077999.html

The Seahawks have let it be known they would consider trading Sherman, but only for “a very good player plus a high draft pick,” according to an NFL source.

Very little chance it happens, but both sides are listening,” Sherman told MMQB. “I honestly don’t have much more to say about it than what I’ve already said. We have a great relationship, . . . There is a lot of love and respect. There is no bad blood.

The media is spinning this thing out of control. I'd be shocked if he was dealt to a team like New England. They don't have the draft picks.
