Should Mahomes be given credit for 1 Super Bowl win, or was it just Shanahan losing 2 Super bowls at the last minute?

Mahomes is a monster. Aaron Rodgers 2.0. Doubting him is dumb.

Easily, I wasn’t surprised that the Bucs won because Mahomes didn’t play great in last years Super Bowl either. He went 26/42 with 2 Interceptions & should’ve been 3 if Kwon Alexander didn’t drop the one that went in his hands earlier in the 4th quarter. He benefited last year from a Quarterback like Jimmy G stinking it up when it mattered & to whom I really hope the Niners trade before the 2021 season kicks off... Tom Brady is the Undisputed GOAT so now everybody should stop disrespecting him by saying this kid will pass him. Mahomeboy doesn’t play great in Super Bowls.

People should stop using the excuse that Mahomes didn't have an OLine in the SB. Mahomes, Rogers, Wilson, extend plays with there legs. As for Brady, if he doesn't have an Oline, he just makes quick reads, quick drops and gets the ball out of his hands fast. Thats why Brady and Montana are great because there quick reads and throws usually beat any blitzs

If the refs had called holding penalties on the Chiefs DBs last year, the Niners likely would've won.

Oh well.

Are you saying you don't think Mahomes can extend plays with his legs? Is this SB the first time you've watched him?

He had 2 weeks to break down what TB did to a team with a similar QB play style and missing their starting LT, only to make the same mistakes. After watching the offense do nothing in the 1st half he refused to adapt his play calling. I don't know if it was more arrogance on his part or an expectation that Mahomes would bail out the team (probably a bit of both).

I just don't understand how someone can have watched that game, especially the throws Mahomes made near the end, and somehow think "it's just a fluke".

Tampas defensive front 7 dominated KCs offensive line.

The fluke was K.C losing their two best O-lineman in the AFC Championship Game and unable to play in the Super Bowl forcing Mahomes to scramble for a Super bowl record 479 yards with vs. 4 pass rushers so they could double cover Hill, Kelce and CEH. .
