From everything I've read the Patriots honestly sound like the best fit for you. They've got your favorite player in Brady and a good balance of offense/defense. They're the best run franchise in the league and have a system set up that doesn't rely on stars to be successful and keeps them consistantly competitive (the Phoenix Suns are probablly the best NBA parallel in that respect). Also keep an eye on Laurence Maroney next time you see a Pats game. I think you'll like him, he's really fun to watch.
