he didn't really deserve the dpoy last year, not that college awards has any bearing on player's nfl prospects. think about all the heisman winners that went late rounds or undrafted.

It must be real nice being a quarterback these days. How much does Wilson get?

Think they are trying to get a deal for Cam ready. Good for Johnson for stepping up. He'll be rewarded I'm sure.

Yep, because they wont have to worry about money for Greg Hardy. On the Exempt List now and will likely be there the rest of the year. He's a FA next year, but looking a being suspended for at least 6 games once the Jury trial is completed.

I wonder how much Hardy gets while on the list, I don't think it is guaranteed at least.

I think he gets the full $14 mil per his Franchise Tag. Lot of money to get paid for most likely sitting out the year. But he better bank it. If he is found Guilty at the Jury Trial and gets a ban for several games, he will have to work his butt off to get any contract for next year. Teams are going to be VERY cautious. He was in line for a HUGE payday, and that is not going to happen now. I know the Panthers will not sign him if found Guilty, and really wonder if any team will, despite the fact he is a heck of a pass rusher. You know any team who entertains signing him will have a major backlash from the public. And if what he was convicted of really did happen like the Judge thinks, then he did this to himself and can only blame himself.

I don't think he will see the field for us again regardless.

Rather shocked about this trade, maybe he was having problems with Carroll?

Really weird trade to be giving up on him, may be they know an injury prognosis the jets don't and wanted to sell high.

Last thing Ryan needs is an injured receiver.

Harvin will be a lot more productive as a Jet. However, in the grand scheme of things this trade isn't going to save the Jets season and Rex Ryans job.

I know they want to re-sign their QB and free up a lot of cash, but daayyum, could they have waited a little bit. Theyre messin up my predictions. I know this kid from Colorado, hes a local high school kid from LA. Maybe theyre thinkin of shippin off some of harvins duties on this kid.

Harvin is tough to manage, to say the least.

I think he'll work out great in the short term but The Regime is right, this is not going to work in the long term.

Supposedly Percy is refusing coaches order to go back into games.

Oh well, he might be able to save Rex Ryans job. This is the best offensive move Rex has made since he got to New York. Second behind bringing in Sanchise, who led him to 2 straight conference finals.

Kind of a shocking trade. Not sure why the Jets would bother, their season is done. I guess Rex thinks Harvin can turn that offense around and they can try to finish like 7-9 or something to save his job, but if a well run franchise like the Seahawks doesn't think Harvin is worth it, I highly doubt the Jets will get anything out of him.
