Chandler Parsons and Eric Bledsoe are the 2 guys to target in a Monroe (or even Smith, Hou liked him last off season) trade.

Yeah I want Bledsoe and would actually prefer him over Parsons even though a 3 is a major need for us. If I could sign and trade Moose for Bledsoe( if a double s&T is allowed), I'd look to dump Jennings for a 3.

@MrBigShot and @Paqo: All I'm saying is that Monroe is just as talented as Bledsoe if we're referring to skills. Plus Monroe has zero history of injuries. You don't trade a talented big for a talented small. The Suns need to include a big in that trade scenario.

After last night's draft, who are the reasonable suitors for Monroe at this point? I really don't see anyone that would make a big play for him anymore.

Even when you got other talented bigs, one making 13.5 and one you plan on building around for the next 10 or so years who's looking to get his cheese in 2 more seasons? Aiite!

One of them need to be traded if you want to actually build a real team and have a legit perimeter or PG. You just cant max out 3 bigs and think your really going very far.

Neptune, seriously, you need to get your head together. I'm starting to lose faith that you're just performing for us -- I'm starting to think you actually believe your own nonsense. Eric Bledsoe's value is so much higher than Monroe's, they aren't even comparable. Big vs. small means nothing when the small is a significantly better player.

1) Dragic is really good.
2) Bledsoe plays with a reckless style that has lead to injuries.
3) Bledsoe wants Max money now
4) Dragic will want max money in 2 years
5) The Suns drafted Tyler Ennis
6) The Suns want Kevin Love (or another good big) but are likely to miss out.

I don't think it's unrealistic the Suns would entertain a S&T of Bledsoe for Monroe. It helps both teams even out their roster salary commitments and money is usually a huge driver in trades.

Bledsoe should be our #1 target.

Monroe for Bledsoe, Bledsoe gets $14 mil max deal
Sign Stephenson starting~$9-10 mil per for 3 years (whatever is left from Bledsoe)

Joe Johnson for Jennings / Jerebko / Bynum / Datome

Bledsoe/Dinwiddie/Siva
Lance/KCP
Johnson/Singler
Smith/Mitchell
Drummond/Harrellson

I understand some here don't like Monroe and I respect poster opinions. But I'm serious when I say I think Smith/Monroe/Drummond can work under SVG. I'm also serious when I say I think Monroe has good value as a big just like Bledsoe has good value as a small. Sorry @tmorgan, I hope you still respect my mental.

@MotownMadness and @Exit9: Nobody's giving Monroe the max, our squad can make it work with more shooters.

I think everyone needs to drop the Bledsoe talk. The Suns haven't given any indication that EB is even remotely available, and have stated that they'll match any offer sheet he signs if they can't get an extension in place.

I'd certainly like him playing in Detroit, but I don't believe it's a real possibility.

First of all Monroe doesnt fit the Suns game plan, he is way to slow for their fast paced offense

Second, Bledsoe has been injured EVERY season of his career, i dont want to pay someone to sit on the bench

With Lowry out of the running and SVG wanting to spend on cheaper FA instead of a bigger piece it's looking more and more like we are going to be a lottery team next year...at least we will get to keep our pick this time around

Being in the east, I believe there's a good chance we're a bottom rung playoff team. Simply because SVG isn't going to leave the players guessing. They'll have a system on both end of the court. They didn't have an offensive system at all with Frank and Cheeks. And, if there was a defensive system with Frank or Cheeks, we certainly couldn't see it and players were constantly playing the pick and roll differently and out of place and not knowing when and if to help.

Then again, everyone around us has generally gotten better while we're spinning our tires in terms of upgrading the roster.

I just don't believe we're going to land any big name players like a lot of posters are predicting.

Stan isn't all of a sudden going to make Detroit a destination organization for free agents. Improvement will first have to come from the current roster and Stan seems to understand this as he's challenging every player to a man to rise up and work harder because there is no savior coming. Salvation comes from within.

I'm the Detroit/Kings deal isn't quite dead, and they did something like Stauskus/Thompson/Terry for Smith/Bynum

I've seen a few rumors about the lakers throwing the max at Monroe. They have nothing to offer us in a S&T if that happened. We'd be screwed either way.

Detroit would definitely match in that situation. Like you said the Lakers don't have anything to offer and the Pistons aren't going to let Monroe walk for nothing.
