This is a loss, I don't think we will have any answer for Lopez. (who is expected to play today)

I want to see Moose be more aggressive and rebound better. He's really only had 2 good games in his last 9 after getting off to a terrible start and then following it up with some pretty good performances, including that triple double.

Also looking for Knight to be aggressive...he's looking a lot better now than he did early in the season, up to 15/5/4. Those are decent stats for a 2nd year PG still learning the position. When he's aggressive, we play so much better.

Starting Moose and Dre against this front court is a no-brainer...

Yup but unfortunately Frank will wait until Lopez gets 15 points in the paint in the first quarter before he brings Drummond in, about the same time that Lopez is getting a rest.

BTW, I'm hoping for a loss for 2 reasons. First, we need a good pick. Second, going on a big losing streak seems to be the only way that Frank will cave and start Drummond.

After selecting Drummond in this year's draft after most posters cringed for every win that improved our record last season, don't you think that hoping to losing games is somewhat unnecessary (especially this early in the season)?

We've picked up two players who should've gone top 5 in two of the last three drafts (Monroe and Drummond) and Knight could arguably be top 5 as well, all without subduing ourselves to the shamless tanking other lottery teams have. It seems less important where you pick than the idiot GMs who are picking in front of you.

Take it from a life long nets fan.... you DONT want to root for your team to lose or tank. it doesnt work out. it creates a terrible losing culture and attitude among any coachers/players that sticks around, and half the time the ping pong balls screw you in the end.

you are better off rooting for you team to bust their behinds, play winning basketball, build chemistry and hope to hit on a pick ing the 7-10 area or get lucky with the ping pong balls.

70 losses got us the #3 pick. and it took a move to another state and a complete roster overhaul to get the losing mentality out. not to mention, our best player this year was taken #10 overall(lopez)

good luck tonite.. you guys certainly have a shot if we play like we did against toronto

Got that right. I wish I could personally thank the raptors for picking Ross ahead of Dre, the warriors for picking Udoh ahead of Moose and as for Knight, Kyrie and Faried and possibly Kawhi Leonard are the only guys that look like better choices in retrospect imo.

Speaking of Leonard...I really like him. I think he could be a terrific fit with this team at SF. Good 3pt shooter and top notch defender, who looks to have improved(based off of summer league)his offensive repertoire.

I'm predicting the Pistons have a ~5 point first half lead and then completely collapse and lose by ~20 before teams pull their starters.

Not feeling much of a chance to win for this game. For one thing I just hope Knight holds his own against Deron Williams and doesn't get completely owned.

Knight (in the last 10 games) has been better than Williams on an individual offense basis, but worst in assists by far. I don't feel this is a lopsided matchup.

I think it's becoming more and ore obvious that Moose isn't a guy that will give you 20 points every night, BUT, he's still someone who you can run your offense through as a hub because he's such a great passer, not necessarily as a post presence. That could change, but he needs to go work with Hakeem or something. He's still not even a decent post scorer.

He looked pretty good as soon as Lopez went out.

Monroe looked much better against Blatche. He was able to back him down much easier but just couldn't knock down the hook shot. He played well overall though.

Typical Maggette contribution, wish Singler checked in for him instead of Knight.

Can't believe some people on this board have actually said that Drummond is not a hustle player.

Drummond doing great against Lopez. About equal in size but much more mobile.
