If Wiggins is offered and I'm Minnesota, I'd trade Love straight up for Wiggins.

I'd tend to agree, but if I'm Minnesota, and seeing how quickly the Cavs changed their tune on refusing to offer Wiggins, I'd push for as much as I could get!

I'm surprised that the Cavs are in practically win-now mode now despite what Lebron said in his letter about them not being ready.

Irving + Lebron + Love core is the best team in the East.

The Cavs have to send more than Wiggins back to Minnesota to match salaries within 125%. So Wiggins plus about 10 million in salary.

If going just on paper the Cavs have all the leverage. However, we know who owns this team now. Lebron does. At first is was no way Wiggins is included in the deal, now its ok. Minnesota is just being smart and seeing how much more they will cave.

Not a bad deal, move a player who doesn't want to be there and is a FA next season for the number one pick in the draft. Because Cleveland must send money back, I'm sure the Wolves are asking for picks also or expirings to free up cap room.

I'm already annoyed Cleveland has been gifted so many #1's and I strongly disliked how Wade, Bosh & LeBron conspired to play together in Miami. I'll be pretty friggin disgusted when this Love trade finally goes down. Players have way too much control over where they get to play.

The letter was PR and an attempt to calm down the rabid & delusional Cleveland fan base. You'd better believe Lebron isn't interested in wasting a prime year or two finding out which of the kids can play and waiting for a team to gel.
