I agree, I've felt chills the whole time. It's right up there with the Boston Red Sox one!

Bill Laimbeer repeating "They won" reminds me so much of Rasheed saying "Both teams played hard".

Absolutely perfect. Really nice stuff.

Zeke absolutely left everything on the court, one of the most memorable teams to play. Also, in today's NBA a package that Dennis Rodman, fillers, and some picks would land you a superstar. I remember reading that Miami tried to acquire him during the 92/93 season.

Great documentary. Really liked everything Detroit did as a team back then as far as smart intelligent tough as hell basketball.

Only thing I didn't like was that walk off against the Bulls. Even Thomas regrets that one.

All these years of hearing about that, and also seeing the footage of McHale talking to Zeke while walking off the court, I didn't realize THAT was before the game ended too. How can nobody ever bring that up?

Great 2 hours of viewing. Really well done.

I will always love Isiah and Laimbeer.

Those guys gave me so much joy.

And Laimbeer still feels no shame in walking off the court.

I bow down to you Billy!!!!

Boston walked off the court too. All except for McHale.

No harm done. I didn't care the Celtics did that.

Bulls disrespected us. We disrespected them right back. That was Pistons basketball. You punch us in the mouth, we punch you right back.

Glad to see Jordan now admitting the Pistons helped the Bulls win those six titles. All he did was denigrate them at the time.

Dam right they did.

Pistons always gave the celtics credit back then for teaching them how to win.

Bulls did just the opposite.

Watching that got me all fired up again. Ahhhh, those were the days.

From playing for Bobby Knight to leading the Bad Boys, Isiah knows all about the school of hard knocks. Here he explains a little bit about what he learned from coach Knight.

Laimbeer needs to be a part of this franchise again in some way. He's exactly what this team needs.

Yes sir,I think he would be a great coach and just what this team needs.A guy thats hard on you when you need it,a strict father type to our young guys,a guy that will brake them down and rebuild them back up and they"ll love him for it.

You cant come to the champions town and say that the NBA would be better off and no one would miss det if they were gone from the NBA,not even jordan gets a pass for that.I dont think they deserved a handshake either after that series,**** them.

It's pretty clear Dantley is still pi$$ed about being traded. You could still feel his anger in that film.

great documentary!!! The best part was the genuine love that the team showed when Mahorn was picked in the expansion draft. Another thing is that Mahorn, Rodman and Salley went on to make teams better as role players something they learned with the Pistons. It is the reason why young players should count themselves lucky to be with a good organization who develops winning attitudes and allows the player to learn on the job. Robert Horry and Sam Cassell are perfect examples of this. It is what Dumars should have done with the 04 Pistons. Keep the youngsters. draft Wade or Carmelo in 03 and keep Okur. That team would have continued to win and possibly become a dynasty.

Amazing program, a must watch for anyone who loves ball or Detroit.

Side note:

Did anyone else watch the "Remix" after with Zeke? I found it kinda odd that all the things he talked about, family, chemistry, were all missing from the teams in NY he built.

The whole time watching that interview with him I was like that's exactly what we need in our next GM, wonder if he really has changed his ways....

Great point. He says and knows what a team needs chemistry-wise to build a team. However, the front office can only do so much...it's ultimately up to the Players.

I think he tried in NY, but obviously it failed.

Remember, the 04 pistons also had great chemistry.

You just don't find players who lead like Isiah and Laimbeer easily.
