At least Neptune has a funny/witty shtick as a user here.

I can't say the same for some on this forum...

Center isn't a position of need for the Suns. They have Plumlee, who played great for them last year, on a rookie deal for two more seasons, and they also have Alex Len whom they'll want to develop heavily now that he's fully healthy. And then at PF they have the Morri. They might still want Monroe (though none of us have any idea if they do and how much they do) but they don't need him.

sfballa13 wrote:I really dont think you guys understand how injury prone this guy is. In 4 regular seasons he has missed EIGHTY games. That is an average of 20 games per season...NO THANKS. Bledsoe who is SUPER injury prone.

Bledsoe has had two real injuries in a 4-year career, one in 2011 and one last year. They each cost him around 40 games. That's bad and it's a red flag but it seems like you're trying to mislead people into thinking the guy's had a dozen different things and can never stay healthy for more than a few games. The other two years he played 76 and 81 games and had zero serious injuries.

how about monroe for those picks they have stocked up and maybe ennis. then we get some cap space and when we are ready to make a jump with drummond kcp and hopefully ennis we have picks to trade for some proven players maybe. i dont want any filler players who wont be here long term. id rather have picks who have the talent to get you somewhere or can be traded for those who can.
Pistons vs. Warriors in the Finals in 2017 - With KCP hitting a game winner so the Pistons dont get swept.

I would trade Smith for picks/Ennis

I would NOT trade Monroe for picks/Ennis

Another report linking Houston to Monroe. I have no idea who they are but they have 26k followers. "b/r" might mean bleacher report is their source though, so not sure how credible. But I looked on BR and couldn't see anything about this, so maybe that's not what they meant.

Aside from Terrence Jones they don't really have anything to offer. I like Jones a lot, but I think I'd rather have Markieff if possible.

Maybe a 3-way is possible.

Morris twins have to be traded together. They are crap players when they are not together.

I would take Green, Ennis, twins and a 1st for Monroe. The twins are a better fit. Green is a def stud and Ennis might be your future PG.

That team would look a lot like SVG Orlando teams.

Yeah, sure.

Points per 36:
Markieff 18.6
Monroe 16.7

Assists per 36:
Markieff 2.4
Monroe 2.3

Rebounds per 36:
Markieff 8.1
Monroe 10.2

PPP on post-ups:
Markieff 0.94 (360 plays)
Monroe 0.80 (442 plays)

PPP on pick-and-roll:
Markieff 1.19 (119 plays)
Monroe 0.91 (165 plays)

TS%:
Markieff .564
Monroe .531

FG% from 10-19 ft:
Markieff .463 (150/324)
Monroe .329 (47/143)

FG% at rim:
Markieff .658 (160/243)
Monroe .632 (336/532)

PER:
Markieff 18.4
Monroe 18.1

WS/48:
Markieff .143
Monroe .106

And you want Green, Marcus, Ennis and a 1st round pick too? This is either just ignorant or I missed the joke.

Can we get Dragic instead? I'll much rather get Dragic and their bad contracts while we trade Monroe and a 1st round pick......I think the Suns will eventually choose Bledsoe over Dragic so this speeds up their rebuilding process

We will have three good playmakers for their position in the starting line up (Jennings, Dragic, Smith), the ball is gonna move!!

No way to start Jennings at SG. His defense on PG is ugly, so I can't imagine him and his light body to guard SG...

3 years later adding a highly protected 1st rd pick was all that was needed to get this done. Crazy how almost this exact thing ended up happening.

What this proves is that a player can get themselves moved if they make the situation toxic enough.

If I was GM, I would move him to a worse situation as payback. Like Brooklyn for example.

I think there's a lot to be said about teams taking the high road though.

A player is disgruntled (no one is ever gruntled!) & acts up...a month later his agent requests a trade.

Now you can trade the **** to whomever you like but his agent has other clients - some might even be on your team.

I'm not saying you bow down to the agent. I'm saying it's more complicated than "Banish Him!"
