Ok, thanks for being apart of the league last season. You can always re-join if theres an open spot, and you can be at the draft.

I guess Heisenberg has first dibbs on your spot. The Penguin will be next when one opens up.

Actually, i downloaded the yahoo app and it let me do a mock draft, so unless you already deleted my team, I guess im in after all.

Nope I hadn't deleted you yet. lol

I did message Heisenberg for his email though, so I guess he'll still have to wait.

I'll join if you have an available spot. didn't play anywhere last year, won the championship the year prior.

I'd like to play as well. It looks like there may be more interest than there are spots for this current league, and I'm guessing it won't be as fun if there are too many players meaning relying on 8th/9th men on each team. Do you have a cutoff date OP? I may want to start a second league if the interest keeps up.

Was just about to suggest a second league if there was enough interest to warrant it. I'll play in a second league if the first is full.

Cut off date to delete old teams, and let new ones in? I was looking at 2 or 3 weeks. It already looks I'll have atleast 9 of 14 teams returning.

I am in other leagues, but haven't joined one on the Detroit board. If you need another, let me know.

I sent PMs out to a couple of people that were interested in joining the fantasy league. Theres 3 people left who haven't re-joined the league, so it looks like those 3 spots are open.

If its ok everyone else I could always up the number of teams to 16 so kf96, and BadMoFoPimp can join. Though with that big of a league it would be smart to trim the rosters down from 14 down to 8 or 9, which is something I thought about doing even with a 14 team league.

i'd definitely trim down the roster sizes, last year there was absolutely nobody on the waiver wire. killed me when lopez went down.

I'm good with a trim of the roster sizes. Frankly, I could see it trimmed down to 10 even if we're rolling 12 teams.

As whitehops said, there's just no decent value on the waiver wire otherwise, and IMO that's part of the game.

Anytime you're rostering the top 150 active managers are at a disadvantage.

The wire should yield some kind of help for active managers - otherwise what's the point in being active?

Some dudes and I have done a 10 team league the last 3 years with 13 players per team and you can find decent options on waivers a lot of the time. That encourages those not doing well to keep hunting IMO

On the Magic board, we have 2 leagues running. An (A) and (B) league. Every year, the top 4 teams of B league move up to A league and bottom A move down. Thus, everyone gets to compete while some people play in both leagues. Every once in a while, we have enough people for 3 leagues running and enact group C. Thus, it stays competitive and everyone gets to participate.

That sounds pretty interesting, sort of like Euro soccer with relegation. I think I was skipped for the PMs because I guess Ballboys can't do PMs until I have enough posts or something? No worries though! I'm still willing to join if you have space, Sheeeeed.

I don't know if there's enough interest but I can start and manage the second league if a few of you guys are willing to join me there. It's been a bit since I've had a yahoo account so let me set one up and I'll post my info if I get a few replies.

Im all for the reduction in cats and for a reduction in roster size. The Waiver wire was so bad last yr I was adding players who would DNPCD 2 games a week.
